HAY Deville Armchair

A contemporary take on the classic bistro set, Julien Renault’s Deville Collection reinterprets a familiar typology for today’s outdoor life. Defined by generous proportions and softly curved frames, the chairs balance durability with an open, welcoming character – an invitation to sit, linger, and enjoy time outside. Crafted from at least 60% post-consumer recycled aluminium, the rust-resistant collection is built to last while remaining easy to move and rearrange. The lightweight design extends across stackable chairs, armchairs, and compact tilt-top tables, available in a variety of colours, shapes, and sizes – making Deville both practical and quietly nostalgic.

French designer Julien Renault blends rational methods with artistic freedom in his approach to design. Based in Brussels, he draws inspiration from everyday life, transforming the ordinary into something beautiful. His work for numerous international brands reflects the deep connection between objects and their environments.
