Pendant light “Hand Grenade” original design year 1952

The Hand Grenade lamp was designed for the building of the Finnish Engineers’ Association (Alvar Aalto 1948–1953). The same model was used in the Council Chamber of Säynätsalo Town Hall (Alvar Aalto 1949–1952).

Two cylindrical shapes combine to make the A110 Hand Grenade Pendant Light. Simplicity at its finest, the light is complete with a brass diffuser that projects the light in a down-facing and warm way.

This is an ex display light with moderate wear, shade is slightly crooked. sold as seen non returnable
