Founded in 1960, Stelton laid the foundations for its future success in 1964 when then-managing director Peter Holmblad initiated a collaboration with renowned Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen. This partnership led to the creation of the iconic Cylinda-Line tableware range, launched in 1967, which gained immediate acclaim for its serene and functional design.
After Jacobsen's death in 1971, Stelton collaborated with young designer Erik Magnussen. His first creation, the stainless steel vacuum jug with a unique rocker stopper, introduced in 1977, remains the best-selling product in the company's history.
