Founded in 2014 by architects Martin D. Christensen, Nicholas Oldroyd, and cabinetmaker Anders Thams, MOEBE is a Copenhagen-based design studio known for its minimalist and functional products rooted in Scandinavian design principles. MOEBE emphasises modularity and sustainability. Their products are designed for easy repair, assembly, and recycling, reducing waste by allowing for the replacement of specific parts. They use flat-packed designs to minimise transport volume, packaged in recyclable cardboard. Collaborating only with socially and environmentally responsible partners, MOEBE creates meticulously crafted furniture and lifestyle objects from their workshop on the island of Amager in Copenhagen, promoting longevity and thoughtful design.
