Story

Used instead of simple hooks, the brightly coloured wooden balls of the Eames Hang It All coat rack are aimed at encouraging children to literally hang up all their things.
Thanks to the uniform distance between the balls, multiple coat racks can be mounted alongside one another for additional storage. The Hang It All is a cheerful alternative to boring coat hooks—and it’s not just for children’s rooms.
To achieve its spidery base, Charles and Ray used the mass-production techniques for welding wires that they developed for their Eames Wire Chairs and Wire-Base Tables (or LTR).
HISTORY
When the Eames Hang It All was first introduced in 1953, it was produced and distributed by Tigrett Enterprises under license from the Eames Office. Production continued until 1959. In the 1990s, Eames Office partners Herman Miller and Vitra reintroduced the Hang It All in their respective markets.
