Founded in 1927 by Guiseppe and Bruno Bambi, La Marzocco was born in Florence, Italy, the epicentre of the Italian Renaissance. With a passion for Italian craftsmanship and innovation, the first coffee machine with a horizontal boiler was invented in 1939, today an industry standard. Becoming the first in a series of extended innovations from the introduction of a dual boiler system and saturated groups.
A shared passion for tradition and the search for superior quality and reliability continue to distinguish the company today. In 2015 the La Marzocco Home product line was born, consisting of the GS3 and the Linea Mini. Now paired with the Lux D and the Swift Mini grinders. Providing a taste and quality of a coffee shop experience at home for Home Baristas and enthusiasts.
The La Marzocco Lux D grinder represents the first collaboration between La Marzocco Home and Mazzer. This grinder has been optimised for the barista at home with a configuration that fits in to your ritual. It is sized between the Mazzer Mini and Mazzer Super Jolly and introduces an On Demand Dosing system. • 61 mm flat burrs that grind 18 grams of coffee in 10 seconds
• On Demand Dosing that allows for portafilter activated grinding
• Comes standard with a short Mazzer hopper that holds 1.3 lbs
