In 1966, the Platner Collection captured the ‘decorative, gentle, graceful’ shapes that were beginning to infiltrate the design world. This Platner Ottoman, designed as the ultimate companion to the Platner Easy Chair, is finished in polished nickel, upholstered in Knoll’s Rivington fabric and created by welding hundreds of curved, steel rods to circular frames, simultaneously serving a structural and decorative purpose.
