The design for the chair was found in the insect world, as GamFratesi took inspiration from the beauty of the anatomy and movement of a beetle. The chair reinterprets the curved characteristic elements of the beetle’s unique shells, sutures, rigid outsides and soft insides. Description

Materials & finishes
Laminated moulded veneer with seat and back in 2 seperate parts. The 2 parts are joined together with a steel fitting milled into the 2 shells. The shells are 10 mm thick. The chair is fully upholstered in Gubi Velvet with Gubi Velvet piping. Brass plated conical metal base.
